Grace Baptist was blessed to have Dale Johnson (and his wife, Amy) as pastor from May 2005 through August 2006. He was not able to minister here long, but his testimony will remain as part of our church's character and journey. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June of 2006, and it progressed extremely quickly through his body. In July, in spite of pain and weakness, he preached 3 sermons not knowing those would be his last, although in retrospect they covered what was most on his heart and mind to the end. He went to be with the Lord in August of 2006.
